The event marked a new chapter in the school's journey toward providing improved facilities for its growing student population of approximately 900 learners.
The groundbreaking ceremony was graced by the presence of about 400 parents, teachers, area government officials, and well-wishers who gathered to witness and celebrate the transformative project. The enthusiastic attendance underscored the strong community support for the school's development.

Key figures in the project included Charles Wangondu, President of the foundation spearheading the construction; Harrison Githu, the foundation's project manager; John Siglai, the head teacher of Muthengera Comprehensive School; and the school head teacher, Mrs. Josphine Tuiye.
